News & EventsFIRM NEWSJohn Izzo testified in Springfield on March 2 and 3, 2010, before two committees of the Illinois General Assembly in support of legislation which he helped to craft. Senate Bill 3544 and House Bill 6041 are aimed at simplifying permanent transfers from school district working cash funds to the operating funds most in need. This legislation would save many districts from unjustified tax objections, and comes in response to last year's Appellate Court decision in G.I.S. Venture v. Novak.
