Teri E. Engler

Ms. Engler is a founding member of Sraga Hauser, LLC. Ms. Engler received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in 1976 and her J.D. degree from Loyola University of Chicago in 1980.

She represents boards of education in a wide variety of school law matters, but generally concentrates her practice in the area of special education/disability law and other student and personnel issues.

She participates in a number of professional organizations and is a member of the Illinois Attorney General's Special Committee on Special Education and the National-Louis University Special Education Advisory Board.

Ms. Engler has also served as a trainer of the Illinois due process hearing officers and an adjunct professor at Loyola University, where she has taught courses in the School of Law and School of Education.

She regularly lectures on school law topics at local, State and national conferences and training programs, and has frequently been recognized by Chicago Magazine as an "Illinois Super Lawyer" in the area of schools and education.
